Abeer aims to provide students ages 11 to 18 with an introduction to technical and applicable aspects of accounting and finance. During the live and interactive sessions, Abeer will focus on concepts that are useful in student’s personal lives and potential business start-ups. Students will learn how to use Excel throughout the term as a tool for both accounting and financial applications. Abeer is a current Commerce student at the University of Toronto. She worked as a teaching assistant at Kumon and started a number of small businesses.
