About the Course & Instructor

(Recommended ages 11 to 18)

Uzair will provide students with knowledge about the fundamentals of front-end web development, UI design, and hands-on experience with writing their own code to create front-end websites. It will include learning HTML and CSS (the pre-requisites for Front-end Development II with JavaScript) along with take-home assignments, in-class quizzes for prizes, and a final project where students develop the front-end of any website with HTML and CSS. Uzair is a 4th-year Computer Engineering student at McMaster University. He has interned at CIBC and Telus as a software developer.

How it works after registration

  • LIVE Zoom sessions are 1hr long each every Saturday & Sunday, 11am - 12pm (EST) from May 29 to June 27

  • All sessions will be recorded and made available after the LIVE session

  • Course is in English and will take 5 weeks to complete

  • Syllabus will include weekly lessons, Zoom link, surveys, quizzes and downloadable information

  • Earn a Certificate upon completion
