About the Course & Instructor

(Recommended ages 11 to 18)

Brooks will explore what it means to be an advocate, strategies for outreach in your community, and effectively identifying what specific changes can improve our world. Brooks holds a Master of Business Administration in Global Leadership from the University of Prince Edward Island and a Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies from Dalhousie University's acclaimed School of Architecture; he is a member of the Prime Minister's Youth Council, providing non-partisan advisory to the Prime Minister and federal government on issues of importance to Canadian youth.

  • Two hands on projects where you do a case study, identify an existing challenge or gap in your community and how you bridged the gap

How it works after registration

  • LIVE Zoom sessions are 1hr long each every Saturday & Sunday, 2pm - 3pm (EST) from May 29 to June 27

  • All sessions will be recorded and made available after the LIVE session

  • Course is in English and will take 5 weeks to complete

  • Syllabus will include weekly lessons, Zoom link, surveys, quizzes and downloadable information

  • Earn a Certificate upon completion
